SAMUEL JOSEPH SCHUCH III, 84, formerly of Indianapolis, left God's earth to join his Savior on Sunday morning, July 17, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy (Beverley) Schuch; two daughters, Katrina L (Lawrence) Kay and Jennifer J (Jon) Bay of Fort Wayne; two sons, Samuel J. (Kimberly) Schuch IV and David (Deborah) Schuch of Indianapolis; and seven grandchildren, Samuel J. (Jennifer) Schuch V, Daniel D. Schuch, Ryan A. (Kristen) Kay, Kassee L. Kay, Christopher J Bay, Makinzie J Bay and Thomas J. Bay.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 800 West 38th Street, Indianapolis, Ind. with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2011 at the funeral home.
Sam and Nancy were members of Salem from 1993 to 2004.  He served as custodian for many years and Nancy sang with the Salem choir.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. .
