The Episcopal
(Bishop's visit)
Celebration was Saturday, October 15, 2011. Bishop William Gafkjen participated in a 2:00
p.m. worship event. A reception followed.
91 attended the
service and more than 80 joined us for the dinner.
Margaret Spangler and members her family made the trip from Iowa.
Pastor John Spangler served Salem from 1948 to 1970.
Pastor Roger and Liz Thompson, members of their family and other past
Salem members from the Thompson era traveled from Ohio, Illinois and
Missouri to be here.
