Serving our Country

One of the photos below shows a special blessing on Reformation Day as the congregation prayed for member Zach Parker.  The other shows Zach pre-senting a flag to Sara Jacobs, a symbol of appreciation for the service of her husband Jim.  His brother Travis graduated from Army basic training in June and is completing advanced training at Ft. Mead in Maryland.  Their sister, Erin Emminger has orders to deploy to Afghanistan.  On December 2, Jake Lewis was deployed to Afghanistan with the Army Special Services/Parachuting Unit.

On Veteran's Day 2010, Pastor Bonnie Sparks conducted a memorial service for our friends, relatives, and founding fathers buried in the church's cemetery.  The cemetery is at 62nd and Guion Road in Indianapolis.
