6/19/06 Some pictures:
6/15/06 I'm still loving this place and have lots of stories to tell. Today is a feast day for Corpus Christi. everything's shut down. Grand parades, though. And wonderful outdoor classical music concerts all over the place last night as a prelude. Not much difference between church and state here. Peace Laurin
5/2/06 The house building scenes are at my brother Brian's Vashon Island, WA home with my sister Judi and her husband, Don. The scenes with snow are in Idaho with my sisters Karen and Mary and my mother. The animals are in the Bitteroot Valley of Montana. One is a heard of elk. One is a heard of buffalo, and in the tree is a bald eagle. All within an hour of each other. The posed pictures of me and two other men are my backdoor neighbors in Tacoma, WA, when I was a kid. The one with me, another man and a woman, (he) is my college roommate now living in Port Angeles, WA.

3/17/06 Sabbatical Greetings! A highlight of my first week was preparing a turkey dinner in Las Vegas for my extended family who live there. Pictured are my nieces Britta and Ilsa (daughters of my sister Chris); Michelle (daughter of my sister Mary) and her daughter Ariana and son, "Jr." (in my lap); and Alejandra, Michelle's niece. My sister Chris gave me my first Spanish vocab test. I got an "A". Next leg: Seattle with my brother Brian and sister Judi; Twin Falls, ID with my mother and sister Mary; and Ketchum, ID, with my sister Karen.

3/8/06 Pastor Vance has left on his Sabbatical. He will rejoin us this summer. Please check back to this page for updates, pictures, and anything else he sends our way.
